Our Team

Gunning Young Barristers and Solicitors has provided Criminal Defence representation in Western Australia since 1989. Over that time, our firm has assisted clients facing a broad range of matters, from traffic and summary offences through to serious indictable charges requiring careful preparation and experienced advocacy. We understand that being investigated or charged with an offence can be one of the most stressful experiences a person will face, and we are committed to guiding clients through that process with clarity, professionalism and confidence.

Our team is focused on delivering practical advice and strong representation at every stage of a matter, including police interviews, bail applications, negotiations with prosecution, trials, sentencing proceedings and appeals. We take the time to understand each client’s circumstances, explain the legal process in plain terms, and develop a strategy tailored to the facts of the case and the best available outcome.

We are proud of the reputation the firm has built over many years for discretion, preparation and results-driven advocacy. Clients can expect a respectful, confidential and non-judgemental approach from first contact through to the final resolution of their matter. Whether the issue is urgent or ongoing, our team is ready to provide trusted legal assistance when it matters most.
